Eldridge Lake Loop

Eldridge Lake Loop at Eldridge Park in Elmira, New York is a 0.6-mile easy and universally accessible trail that encompasses the lake and features views of the water.

This is not a hike but rather a flat walk along a paved trail that circles Eldridge Lake. Walkers will find access to Eldridge Park amusement facilities when they're open too (seasonal).

Note that the path from the parking lot to the paved loop trail is dirt and crushed stone. The trail that circles the lake is paved and accessible.

Walkers will find a very large parking lot at the coordinates provided.

Pets
Dogs are allowed only if leashed and must be cleaned up after.

Warning
Geese: This park is a magnet for Canadian Geese, which can be found littering the trail, usually on the south side. These geese often have babies with them and will protect their young, so give them plenty of space. In addition to the geese, parts of this trail can be found littered with goose droppings, so watch your step.
