East Sidney Lake Dam

The Easy Sidney Lake Dam near Sidney Center, New York is an easy 0.1-mile out-and-back paved walk that leads to views of East Sidney Lake and the surrounding mountains.

This is not a hike, but rather a quick roadside walk that follows the top of the Easy Sidney Lake Dam. From the parking lot and from the dam, visitors get views of the surrounding area including the dam itself, Easy Sidney Lake, and the mountains or hills that surround the lake.

The path along the dam is paved, but not universally accessible as there's a short staircase that leads down to the top of the dam; however, visitors can still get nice views from the parking lot.

Visitors will find parking at the coordinates provided along NY-357.

Dogs are allowed if leash and should be cleaned up after.
