Cornell Botanic Gardens Loop
The Cornell Botanic Gardens Loop at Cornell Botanic Gardens in Ithaca, New York is an easy 0.8-mile loop walk that features beautiful garden landscapes and wildflowers.Walk Description
This is not a hike, but rather a short walk that leads through the different sections of the botanic garden. First, walkers will pass by the main building which allows for access to the main gardens, starting with the Lewis Building's wisteria-covered pergola that sits adjacent to the Herb Garden. This track leads through the pergola, passing the Herb Garden, to head over to Comstock Knoll. The track circles the evergreen forest at Comstock Knoll twice along two different-tiered paths before heading back to the Herb Garden. The track then leads walkers through the Herb Garden before leading into the Winter Garden. The Winter Garden is another evergreen garden that's lined with smaller and shorter evergreen bushes, rather than the evergreen forest of Comstock Knoll.
After exploring each of the gardens, this track heads back to parking for a 0.8-mile wallk.
