The Chetco Point Trail at Chetco Point Park in Brookings, Oregon is an easy 0.8-mile out-and-back trail that features stunning views and leads out to Chetco Point.
The trail begins at the main parking lot, located next to the wastewater treatment plant. Despite the water treatment plant and the beginning of the trail, the southern section is much more scenic and boasts views worth hiking for.
Chetco Point lies at the very tip of the peninsula that sticks out into the Pacific Ocean and the trail that leads out to the point runs along steep cliff edges. The trail itself is paved, however, which makes it accessible.
Pets: Dogs are allowed if leashed and their waste must be carried out by the hiker.
