This section of the Cape Cod Rail Trail in Brewster, Massachusetts is an easy 1.8-mile out-and-back walk that follows a paved and universally accessible bike path through the woods.
Hike Description
This is less of a hike and more of a long flat walk, but regardless is a really nice and quiet walk in Brewster. The walk begins at the Nickerson State Park parking lot for the Cape Cod Rail Trail and follows the paved path heading east. Walkers will encounter the most-interesting point-of-interest along the trail right away - simply a metal tunnel underpass. Albeit, this walk was quiet due to the season (late March); however, most folks use this trail for biking, hence, for walkers the trail is generally pretty quiet as bikers will come and go pretty quickly.
This recording only follows the trail east for approximately 0.9-miles and turns around at the Seaview Rd junction, hence the 1.8-mile out-and-back walk; however, the entire length of the Cape Cod Rail Trail is much longer as it extends through pretty much the entire Cape.
Parking
Walkers will find parking at the coordinates provided, located at the northern-most Nickerson State Park entrance.

Restrooms
During warmer months, there are open restrooms at the trailhead.
