Brookside Trail

The Brookside Trail at Northwest Park in Windsor, Connecticut is an easy 1.3-mile loop trail that features a brook and small hills.

The trail is very nice and hilly - lots of up and down with many roots, so just watch your step, especially during autumn with wet leaves. This trail is one of the longer trails in Northwest Park but not connected to any others. Dogs are more than welcome, it is definitely my dog's favorite trail due to the ridiculous amount of squirrels.

Parking
Brookside trail is about a half a mile from the parking lot - past the Nature Center and Animal Barn on the right. Hikers will need to walk over to this trailhead since there's no parking directly at the trailhead.
