Bray Valley Trail

The Bray Valley Trail at Mount Tom State Reservation in Holyoke, Massachusetts is an easy 0.7-mile one-way trail that connects the Bray Loop Trail to the abandoned ski resort and quarry.

The trail can be accessed from the Bray Loop Trail roughly 1-mile from the parking lot or from the parking lot at the Mt Tom Ski area, which is much closer. This is a low-traffic trail and should be considered easy.

Parking: The parking coordinates provided will bring you to the main lot next to Lake Bray. You'll need to hike in on the Bray Loop Trail to reach this trailhead, so plan on an additional 1-mile hike from the parking lot to reach this trail. Alternatively, you can park at the abandoned ski resort to reach this trailhead much quicker; however, the gate is not always open to reach this parking lot. The coordinates for the abandoned ski resort parking lot are: 42.251932, -72.631206.

Pets: Dogs are allowed if leashed and their waste must be carried out with the hiker.
