Blue Loop Trail

The Blue Loop Trail at Boyce Park in Plum, Pennsylvania is an easy 1.6 mile hike through the southeast portion of the park. The trail is tucked away in the woods and thus you need to hike up the access road at the parking lot, hike beyond the utility shed, and onto the Blue & White Cap Trail. Follow the Blue & White Cap Trail for 0.2 miles until you reach the start of this trail.

Starting the loop from the end of the Blue & White Cap Trail, if you head north (left) on the loop, you'll hike through deciduous trees and brush on a well-maintained trail until reaching the northern section of the loop. In the north, the trail becomes more open and you get better views into the woods of Boyce Park - especially in the Fall.

As you hike along the eastern section of the trail, you'll be hiking along a small creek that you can use as a water source if you have a water filter. While hiking along the creek, you'll have to cross it at least twice to stay on the Blue Loop, but the creek crossings are not difficult.

Dogs and mountain biking are allowed on this trail.
