Bastion Falls

Bastion Falls near Haines Falls, New York at Catskill Park is easy 0.1-mile out-and-back walk that leads to the 40-foot tall multi-tiered waterfall known as Bastion Falls.

Note that as of September 2023, parking is prohibited at the trailhead here, so the only way to enjoy this waterfall is either by being dropped off or by simply driving past it on the road, slowly.

If you get the opportunity to be dropped off here, the waterfall is a beautiful cascade that spills over two tiers of bedrock to form the ~40-foot waterfall.

Parking
As previously stated, as of September 2023, there's literally no parking for this waterfall. Visitors can get dropped off, very quickly, by a friend or you can enjoy the waterfall by driving by on the road.

Dogs are allowed only if leashed and must be cleaned up after.
