About Reed Conservation Area

Discover the natural beauty of the Reed Conservation Area in Belchertown, MA, a haven for easy hiking. The highlight is the popular Blue Blaze Trail, a 1.4-mile out-and-back path leading you to the serene Knight's Pond. Plan your visit by parking on Gold Street across from Trillium Way and keep an eye out for the distinctive blue blazes that mark the trail. Be sure to note key turns and intersections along the way to ensure you stay on course.

For your return journey, you have several options. You can retrace your steps along the Blue Blaze Trail, opt for a quicker route via the Orange Blaze Trail (a 0.1-mile shortcut), or explore the Red Blaze Trail.
